The Project

Before we begin I would like to start with a brief introduction and a little background information. My name is Sandra L.Butler, and my interest in the Bible started at age around the age of 18.  I can remember being particularly struck by the peculiar names of the people and places in the Bible, and feeling that they might hold some deeper meaning. Three years later I would find out my intuition was right.  It was the summer of 1975. That’s when I met a man that was not of any religion, yet held a most unique take on the Bible, the result of a revelation he received between 1960 and 1974. So intrigued by this knowledge I dedicated the next 19 years of my life to an in-depth study. These teachings were pure in that they were passing through a mind that was free of any preconceived ideas with respect to God's word, conceived by a heart that was not only void of religious beliefs, but of the emotional pain that many experience  when leaving the church. In other words, there was no mental or emotional filter to pervert the knowledge that was coming through. The scholarly aspect of this 19-year study was the painstaking task of taking nearly every word of the Old Testament back to its Hebrew root, where the life is. This would be essential because the Hebrew language plays a major part in revealing God’s spiritual language. Prior to his death in 1994 this man of God had one request— "Tread out the Understanding.”

There would be 2 ½ years of stagnation before this came to mind, which built up a desire in me to inquire as to what this understanding was, and the journey began. Sadly, it would require me to leave behind a group of people I had known half my life, followed by a process in which any beliefs that were allowed to form after this mans’ death, that were in error, were eliminated. This took place over a period of thirty-one days in March of 1997. April 1st marked a new beginning. The darkness caused by the elimination of the light of my own understanding created a void. It was in this void that the Holy Spirit was able to move me into the light of a deeper understanding of the knowledge I received between 1975 and 1994. The knowledge was being further spiritualized. In the fall of 1998, after being asked to read and give my thoughts on a book called “The Bible Code,” I awoke to these words — "atomic holocaust. 2006. You know the answer to that. You KNOW the answer!”

It was in that moment that I realized I had a lot of questions. So before I went to bed I would ask one of my questions, and the next morning I would be awakened (always at precisely 3 am) by the answer coming through my head, before my mind even became conscious, preventing any of my own thoughts from getting mixed in. This went on every day for the next 3 months. It was just the beginning of what was to be a seven-year-long revelation of the symbolic code of the Bible. I knew the information that was coming through was important so I dragged myself out of bed and headed downstairs to my computer to record it. Following these three months, on Dec. 21st, 1998, I had the most powerful dream I have ever had. It was right around the time of this dream that I heard the words, “You are going to write a book,” and then I was given the name of the book— "The Bible Decoded."  It took me 10 years to write the book, along with another book, and it would be another 2 years before the idea for the "Refounding Christianity" project came to me, which I have to say was greatly influenced by Glenn Beck’s “Refounding America” movement. That is when I began to see that Christianity, like America, was founded upon a true foundation. But that down through history, the foundation of spiritual Christianity was covered over, replaced with the foundation of religious Christianity, which is a false foundation, built up brick by brick, lie upon lie, using what the Bible calls “untempered mortar." (Ezekiel 13:11).
