The Refounding Christianity Video Series – Introduction

“And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Matthew 24:1,2

Jesus is speaking of the buildings of the temple that were brought down in 70AD, exposing the foundation. But he is also speaking of the destruction of the doctrines of the church, whose foundation of false teachings is being exposed in what is the 7th day.

Thank you. I appreciate and respect the power of the visionary guidance upon which your work is based. Still, I also find the opposition you feel between “spiritual” (or “true”) Christianity and “religious” (or “false”) Christianity to be too rigid, too absolute.

Denying spirit to “religious” Christianity doesn’t do justice to the symbolic depth and transcendent truth of much the Christian tradition has produced through two millennia (give or take) — in spite of the Constantine and the patristic councils.

The Nicene Creed is deeply symbolic and presents truth in poetic imagery. Ritual, too, has symbolic depth and transformative power, even if those aspects are not seen or experienced all that often. The spiritual achievements and insights of the Christian mystics are awesome as well.

The breeze of the Holy Spirit still blows through “religious” Christianity, its light still can be seen – if one has eyes to see. Religion and Spirit, it seems to me, are different faces of a multifaceted gem, and thus their apparent opposition does not capture the whole, ineffable truth.

  2. Hi Bob,

The opposition between spiritual Christianity and religious Christianity is not about my feelings. It’s about the Prophets opposition to what is being taught through religious Christianity, and about God’s opposition to its leaders, and about the judgment that is soon to come, which is why we have been given revelations for our time.

The stories of the Bible reveal the history of the Christian religion, so I can tell you that it is not about ME denying spirit to religious Christianity. It’s about the spirit being denied to that system, which took place in 1975, when the teacher of the first revelation heard the words “Ichabod,” meaning “the glory of the Lord is risen from the children of Israel.” Christians ARE the children of Israel of today, unskilled in the spiritual word of God.

As is written in the book of Revelation, ” Come out of her, my people…”

    Godspeed
