GOVERNMENT & RELIGION

iron_clay

Symbolized by the iron and clay in the Book of Daniel.

“And whereas thou sawest the iron and the clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as the iron is not mixed with clay.”  Daniel 2:43

The clay symbolizes the religious image, the iron symbolizing the political power that gives strength to the beastly religious image, the two kingdoms divided through separation of church and state.  They have mingled with the seed of men from generation to generation, yet they shall not cleave one to another, maintaining a degree of separation.

THE BIBLE DECODED: breaking the ancient code; “Babylon”

The Founding Fathers saw the danger in mixing government with religion, should one or both become corrupted by lies, as they have.

Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man. …Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and importers led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus.”  – Thomas Jefferson.

It is most likely this insight that gave rise to Thomas Jefferson’s  “Wall of Separation of Church and State,” which became part of the First Amendment to the Constitution for our protection, which is what a wall does.

“Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.”  Daniel 2:45

The stone symbolizes truth.  In exposing the lies in government and religion, the left will move right, and the right will move left, moving toward center, the meaning of the word heart, where truth can be found.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  ~ Jesus
